Jarod Hickman
I'm a Junior UI/UX Designer with a BFA in Design from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, with experience across UI/UX, product design, graphic design, and art direction. Currently, I work as a Freelance UI/UX Designer, collaborating directly with clients to turn their ideas and goals into thoughtful digital experiences.
I'm drawn to design that makes technology feel more intuitive and human. I care about understanding the people I'm designing for and creating experiences that are accessible and able to connect with a wide range of users. Collaboration is a major part of that process for me, and I thrive in environments where different perspectives and areas of expertise come together to create better solutions.
Curiosity is at the center of how I approach design. In a field that evolves constantly, I'm always learning—whether that's exploring new technologies, understanding shifts in how people interact with digital products, or refining my own process through feedback and experimentation. Outside of design, I bring that same commitment to growth into my life through reading, health, and creating digital art.
